A canal in the province of Ferrara hosts today's session, this time of coarse fishing and with the roubaisienne technique, in the company of the Trabucco team. A day full of precious tips to make fishing fun but above all successful.

The protagonists explain first of all how to prepare the groundbait and the necessary quantities. The slowness of the water leads the team to prepare the perfect mix with five kilos of groundbait and two kilos of Terre de Riviere to create the necessary initial bottom. For the feeding, instead, the River Leam Heavy Black and the Damp Leam Black are used, in this case with fouilles, dead maggots and caster.

The team goes specifically into the preparation of the groundbait with the first tips. During the wetting phase, in fact, it is important to proceed with the right amount of water, so for each kilo of groundbait is used a magic box of 250 grams of water. In this case, five magic boxes for five kilos of groundbait that initially might seem too wet, but that actually will prove to be perfect for the start of the competition.

The Land of Riviere, as specified, is an infallible ally for the capture of freshwater breams and fishing sessions at gunpoint, not only in addition to the groundbait but also as a means to bring the fouilles to the bottom. This land, which does not need any kind of sieving, wets very easily and quickly.

The mix of lands prepared is very versatile and the team demonstrates this with the realization of three balls of groundbait of different consistencies. One just tight, one a little bit tighter and the other well tightened. Putting the three balls in the water shows how each one works differently.

The first one disintegrates immediately, the second one disintegrates more slowly and the third one will act after much more time than the other two. In this way you will have, with the same mix, the possibility to cover different fishing situations. The introduction on the land and the baiting is followed immediately by the first catch of the day. A freshwater bream of reasonable size has not resisted the bait proposals and the bait has arrived almost immediately encouraging the protagonists to continue the search for increasingly important prey.
