Conceived in the USA, the Chatterbait is a wire bait characterized by a wide hexagonal headstock, which precedes a jig equipped with a silicone skirt.
In essence, it is a middle ground between a jig and a spinnerbait: in the recovery the pressure of the water makes the paddle oscillate frantically, producing a particular sound that recalls the clapping of the teeth (in English "chatter") and that draws the attention of Black Bass and Pike from a great distance, even in murky waters.
Like the spinnerbait, the chatterbait is also a research bait, which is used in little-known spots to explore the water with continuous launches and movements, starting the recovery at different times from the moment of impact with the water.
The addition of a silicone trailer increases its weight, volume and chromatic appeal, as well as improving its already good anti-algae properties.
Windex Chatterbait features a jig head with three-dimensional eyes, a sturdy single hook and a safety snap for connecting to the line.
