Xitan Advance Z16L– A perfect all-round competition pole – but the ultimate pole for competition carp fishingThe Xitan Advance X16L is the third generation of Brownings unique long-section poles and follows in the footsteps of our famous Xitan Z12 and Z14. Experience gained from development of our Sphere pole has allowed us to make the Z16L significantly lighter and stiffer than the earlier poles, but without sacrificing any of the legendary strength and reliability that Xitan poles have become famous for. The Z16L is a true length 16m pole - without needing mini-extensions or extra-long topkits to reach full length. With the unique Ergonomic Pole Protector fitted the pole measures 16.7m, with further extensions available to 18m+. For length restricted events, the Z16L can be setup to be a full 13m pole. The Z16L has been designed to be an “all round” competition pole, but it is without doubt the ultimate pole for competitions targeting carp or large fish due to its incredible strength, total reliability, unique extra length and special features. The Z16L includes our popular 1.9m one piece topkit design which is both strong and ultra stiff - so elastics run perfectly smoothly. However, with each one piece kit we also include a short parallel extension that, if needed, can be used to extend the kit to 2.6m – the same length as the conventional 2 piece SLK topkit. This gives some flexibility when fishing at different lengths, in deep water, or with a mix of topkits.The Xitan Z12 and Z14 built deserved reputations as totally reliable, strong and long lasting competition poles – poles that do everything and anything asked of them – over and over again!
