It belongs to the family of Pencil baits, lures designed with an elongated shape and free from any lip which, in the absence of traction, are standing vertically in the water. The particular shape of the head, with a fl at, angled area below the connection point of the line, is responsible of swimming action, which is practically level to the surface (top water). The recommended retrieve style is only one: WTD i.e. “walking the dog”: while the reel’s rotation makes the lure proceed, the rhythmic jerking of the rod’s tip lets it swing according to a zig-zag pattern that drives topwater predators literally crazy. The attack is always almost rude, with a spectacular explosion that surely is the most exciting moment of the entire fi shing action. The two predominantly white colours are ideal for fi shing in the early morning or during sunset darkness, when the Glowing version excels in its ability to seize the light and return it to the aquatic environment. Bluefi sh, Leerfi sh, Little Tunny and Bonitos can’t resist the temptation, but must experience the eff ectiveness of Powerpoint carbon steel hooks, before being fi nally released.
